If you haven’t already got your DVR set for the Monday night premiere of (DIS)CONNECTED (9/8c!), here’s another reason to do so. Yesterday morning, A THIN LINE announced an awesome new collaboration with Pete Wentz and designer Jac Vanek – and on Monday night, you can find out how you can get this special edition gear for free!

Pete Wentz, best known as Fall Out Boy’s heartthrob bassist and lyricist, came up with the design and message for the bracelets and dogtags, which bear the message “STAND CONNECTED” in bold white letters. The rocker, who has previously spoken out about mental health issues with mtvU’s Half of Us campaign, hopes that the gear will “get people thinking about the person on the other side of the screen before they choose to hit the ‘ENTER’ key.”

Designer Jac Vanek, whose supercool bracelets, dogtags, and t-shirts have been seen on everyone from Demi Lovato to All Time Low, also lent a hand to the creation of the official gear. This isn’t her first foray into the world of make-a-difference fashion; previous collaborations with orgs like Invisible Children and NOH8 made caring chic for the trendsetters wearing her bracelets. Jac hopes that the gear will get people talking about the issue of digital abuse, asking her fans to “enlighten those around you.  Be proactive. By wearing one, you are part of the campaign and part of the movement!”

Now, for the moment you’ve all been waiting for – when and how can you get your hands on it? A THIN LINE is giving away 10,000 free bracelets and dogtags, starting on Monday night. Be one of the first people to find out how to get one by “liking” the A THIN LINE Facebook page and tuning in to (DIS)CONNECTED, airing on MTV on Monday at 9/8c.
